The City's Engineering Division assists the community by applying sound engineering and operating principles to the review, design, inspection, operation and maintenance of the City's infrastructure. This division also oversees site development and site plan review for the community.

The Engineering Division for the City oversees implementation of City ordinances relating to such issues as zoning, subdivision of land, planned units of development boundary adjustments, mobile home and mobile home park development and off-street parking. The Division maintains maps and a development manuals that provides extensive information for the development of projects within the Cody City limits.
The staff is readily available to assist in providing maps, ordinances, development booklets, guidelines and general information for those individuals and businesses completing construction and development projects in Cody.
